1. HUGE News: Beaverton Gym to More Than Double in Size - Taking it to the Next Level!

IMPACT Jiu Jitsu is growing from a 3,000 sq. ft. facility to over 7,700 sq. ft.! ! ! We finalized the deal last week. Now, our efforts are on creating a world-class training facility to match our world-class coaching and programming.

We acquired the northern portion of the office building across our parking lot (to the west) that sits right on the corner of Cedar Hills Blvd. and Milikan.

Lots of exciting work will take place over the next six to eight weeks as we work to get the facility upgraded and ready for a GRAND OPENING. We expect to have an MMA floor with a ring / cage, a grappling room, showers, and lots of other amenities. Stay tune - we’ll keep you posted as things unfold.

There is excitement in the air… we are taking things TO THE NEXT LEVEL! ! !

2. Coach Dewey featured on StrengthCoach.com Podcast

Last week IMPACT’s Dewey Nielsen was one of 6 coaches on a podcast for the fitness and conditioning web site Strength Coach (http://www.strengthcoach.com/). This is a BIG DEAL! The best in the industry are a part of such podcasts … which are listen to be folks working to grown their training skills and knowledge.

Dewey noted, “It was an absolute honor to be in the same boat as Charlie Weingroff, Tim Vagen and Daniel Martinez. Honestly, I’m not sure how I bluffed my way into a circle of some of the industries best trainers and coaches!”

Among the topics discussed were Bilateral Training, The Back Squat, Work Capacity and more.

Unfortunately the interview is too large to attach to our update. If you are interested in listening and are a member to Strength Coach you can listen here: http://www.strengthcoach.com/members/1546.cfm. You can also get a trial membership of $1 for 1 week.

Also, rumor has it that Coach Dewey may continue to be featured every month on the Strength Coach podcast interviews!

Very cool! Way to go Dewey! ! !

4. Team IMPACT Fares Well at The Revolution Tournament in Seattle
