1. 4th of July Week - Gym on Modified Schedule

IMPACT Jiu Jitsu will be on a modified schedule during the first week of July in celebration of the 4th of July Holiday.

July 2, 3, 5, 6: open gym / free train from 4 - 8 pmJuly 4: GYM CLOSED

July 7: open gym / free train from 11 am - 2 pm

2. Team IMPACT Training Up for Mundials

Over ten IMPACT athletes are training in preparation for the Mundials - The World Jiu Jitsu Championship - held in Los Angeles August 23 - 26. It should be a GREAT time. If you are interested, talk to Coach Tom or Coach Armand and they’ll get you all the info. 

Main training time: Wednesday nights from 7 - 8:30 pm and Saturdays afternoons from 12 - 1:30 pm. These are going to be great, tournament-like training sessions … You won’t want to miss them! ! !

This last Saturday, the Newberg crew drove up and trained with us … it was SUPER having them in the room and rollin’.

3. Coaching University

Applications are beginning to come in … don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of this great new program! ! !

We are proud to announce the creation of Coaching University (CU) at IMPACT and the first accredited coaching curriculum — Coaching Certification - Level 1 (CCL1). The curriculum for CCL1 is specifically designed to help athletes explore the fundamentals of coaching. Upon completion of the course hours and the evaluation process, the certified coach will be qualified to teach classes at IMPACT. Certified coaches will become of a part of the Coaching Pool – run core instructional classes, staff special programs, run gym-endorsed private lessons, coach satellite clubs, and, ultimately, open future IMPACT Jiu Jitsu gyms.

4. Cubs Club Summer Hours

The Cubs’ Club Classes are moving to a modified summer schedule.

Classes are as follows:

Cubs / Big Cubs:
Monday + Wednesday: 4:30 - 5:15 pm
Tuesday: 5:05 - 5:50 pm

Little Cubs:
Monday + Wednesday: 5:20 - 5:50 pm
Tuesday: 4:30 - 5:00 pm

Fridays will be reserved for private and semi-private lessons. There will be no group classes on Fridays until school starts again. See Coach Tom if your are interested in getting some extra training / technique in.
