1. Holiday Party - Wonderful Time with Friends

What a WONDERFUL evening! ! ! Over 80 gym members, family, and friends enjoyed the IMPACT Jiu Jitsu Holiday Party on Saturday night. It was full of great food, warm conversation, and happy sounds. The kids had a BLAST with the Holiday Piñata … and BIG Thanks goes to Coach Woody for helping run the affair with no casualties. Thank you to all the folks that brought all the great food and drink - it was amazing how much good stuff there was. Lastly, special thanks to my wife, Coby, for being such a great sport and allowing us to have it our house … it was really terrific.

Daniel Krug and Adam Gonzales will be representing Team IMPACT / SBG at the Rumble at the Roseland on Saturday, December 16. Come down (wearing your blue shirt) and support our guys! ! !

3. Winter ATP - Set to Starts January 8 — Sign-up Now! ! !

All no-gi grapplers - This ATP is for YOU! ! !

What: Accelerated Training Program (ATP)
Theme: No-Gi Submission Grappling - Strategies and attacks to be successful in the Sub-League format
When: January + February
Who: All no-gi grapplers … particularly those who are planning on competing in the next Sub-League
Dates and Times: To be determined - 2 days a week for 8 weeks
How much training: 24 hours of instruction and season preparation
Coaches: Oberhue, Chapman, Debruge, Andrews
Tuition: $185 - includes entry fee into Sub-League Qualifier Tournament #1

There will be NO YOUTH CLASSES from Monday, December 18, until Tuesday, Monday, January 2. Coach Tom will be in on December 26 - 28 from 4 - 5 pm for Youth Open Gym for cubs who want to work on requirements or grapple.

There will be NO INSTRUCTIONALS from 12/22/06 to 1/1/07. The regular class schedule will resume on January 2, 2007.

Event: Sportfight “Resolution”
Date/Time: Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 7:30 pm
Facility: ROSE GARDEN

IMPACT Jiu Jitsu’s Keisuke Andrew and Andy Lukesh will be competing in the January 6 Sportfight event at the Rose Garden. Also, Aaron Stark, a familiar face at IMPACT is also on the fight card.
