3. Great Training with Pedro Sauer

10 folks had an amazing training session with Professor Pedro Sauer (6th Degree Black Belt in BJJ) on Sunday, October 8th. It is truly amazing to see Jiu-Jitsu taught by someone who is so knowledgeable and has spent so much of their life training the sport. It was very impressive. I found myself having major “ah-ha” moments throughout the afternoon … and giggling with excitement at seeing something total new and special.

4. Sad News

Haueter brings great enthusiasm and knowledge to the game of Jiu-Jitsu.

Chris Haueter was unable to make it up Portland for the Western Regional BJJ Championships and to train at Beaverton and Newberg IMPACT Gyms this month due to his father’s failing health. On Saturday, October 14, Chris’ dad passed away.

Our thoughts and prayers are with him. We look forward to having him up at a later date.
