1. Trip to Seattle this weekend - BJJ Tournament Training with Marcelo Alonso’s schools
A group of IMPACT athletes are traveling up to Seattle this Saturday, September 30, for a competition gi training sessions from 11am - 2pm. It is going to be a great opportunity to get some “real-time” tournament experience.
If you’d like to join us, be at IMPACT Jiu-Jitsu Beaverton at 7am Saturday morning. We should be back in Portland around 6pm that evening.

We have added a bunch of video clips. In particular, see a sneak preview of the Combative Conditioning Instructional Series… we are excited about how this project has turned out.

3. Updated schedule

Note change: MMA 2 is now Tuesdays from 6 - 7pm and Thursdays from 8 - 9pm. MMA 2 is no longer on Wednesday nights.
4. Newberg Gym Grand Opening
We will have a HUGE GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION on Saturday, October 7. The day’s events will go as follows:
    10 - 11:30 am Free BJJ Seminar: Coaches Tom and Dewey
    12 - 1:30 pm Free MMA Seminar: Coaches Michael and Matt
    1:30 - 5 pm Celebration / Raffle / Open Gym

All Beaverton gym members, friends, and family are cordially invited to come on down and partake in the fun happenings.
The Beaverton gym will be open that day and running class … but most folks will be heading down to Newberg for the day.
5. Seminar: Pedro Sauer at IMPACT, Oct. 8
7 spots have been reserved … only 8 remain. Act now … they are going fast, and once they are gone, they are gone. This is a GREAT opportunity to train with one of the most knowledgeable BJJ coaches around. Pedro is a super instructor and a great communicator. I’m positive that you won’t be disappointed.
A special training opportunity is presenting itself at IMPACT Jiu-Jitsu. Pedro Sauer, a 6th degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will be doing a private training session on Sunday, October 8, from 10am - 2pm.
