This is the second camp in a series featuring Impact Jiu Jitsu’s seven Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belts and is guaranteed to be packed with information and grappling.
Scheduled in the heat of the 2011 Sub League Season, the instructors will focus on competition strategies – from takedown to finish. Participants will learn new techniques, actively drill those techniques, and have time to apply them in live grappling throughout the 4-hour camp. To accommodate the pace, camp notes will be emailed to all participants after the event.

Impact Jiu Jitsu will be closed on Saturday, April 2, 2011, for Sub League Qualifier 1. Come on out to Liberty High School and support your teammates.
Spectators who bring two non-perishable food items will receive discounted admission into the tournament. Furthermore, Sub League will donate $2 from every regular-priced spectator ticket, to the Oregon Food Bank.

Beaverton Impact Jiu Jitsu follows the Beaverton School District’s storm closure schedule; therefore, all classes are canceled today (Thursday, Feb. 24). We will hold an open gym this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. for all you hard cores that want to brave the weather.
On Saturday, December 18, 2010, at The Palace of Auburn Hills Michigan, Shaun took on Keith Sterly for the Heavywight Title in the “Impact Fight League” main event.
Just 1 minute 37 seconds into the first round, Shaun won the Heavyweight Title by means of a knockout in front of a strong group of fans and Impact Jiu Jitsu’s own Larry Munyon in his corner.
Shaun recently moved with his family from Impact Jiu Jitsu in Beaverton, OR, to Traverse City, MI, where he now owns Mirjavadi MMA.
The house was packed on Saturday, September 25, at Impact Jiu Jitsu’s Black Belt Training Camp in Beaverton, Oregon. The Camp was presented by Impact Jiu Jitsu’s Michael Chapman (2nd degree black belt) and featured black belts Armand Debruge, Cameron Apple, and Keisuke Andrew. More than 45 participants spent the four hours learning and drilling new techniques.
Armand Debruge taught counters and reversals to common guard passes; Cameron Apple presented half guard attacks; and Keisuke Andrew showed leg lock setups and finishes.
