George Sotiropoulos defeated Kurt Pellegrino by unanimous decision on Saturday, July 3 in Las Vegas, NV. George was all business, controlled all ranges, and proved once again that he belongs on top.

UFC’s Dana White was quoted on MMAJunkie.com, July 5:

“I’m impressed with him,” White said after the July 3 Las Vegas event. “I was blown away with his Joe ‘Daddy’ Stevenson fight, and he looked incredible [at UFC 116] against a guy I have a lot of respect for, too. Kurt Pellegrino is awesome.

“[Sotiropoulos] is right there. He’s fought his way into the mix. No doubt about it.”
