Accelerated Training Program (ATP)

Sharpen Your Game, Prepare for Competition

This Accelerated Training Program will focus on “Jiu Jitsu fundamentals”, drawn from the blue and purple belt curriculums. The ATP will also serve as preparation for the United Combat Sports “Sub League Open”, taking place on January 21, 2012.

Impact Jiu Jitsu black belt instructors Armand Debruge and Michael Chapman will lead the 8-week intensive program. Emphasis will be placed on simple and efficient high percentage offensive and defensive moves from the following positions:

Half guard
Cross-sides
Mount
Back with hooks

ATP is open to all academies and belt levels.

$225 – Impact Jiu Jitsu Members
$275 – Non Members (includes open access to Impact Jiu Jitsu’s regular classes from November 19-January 17)

Oregon Open Jiu Jitsu Championship

Jiu Jitsu athletes don’t have to travel great distances to experience a huge tournament. There’s one right here in Oregon!

Oregon Open is a traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament where matches are decided by highest score, submission, or referee stoppage. Both the Gi and No-Gi events follow a single elimination format but with consolation matches. Every effort is made to provide at least two matches for all competitors.

In 2010, Oregon Open hosted 590 athletes. We expect to see the same this year. This means good size brackets, the opportunity for masters divisions, and a ton of great Jiu Jitsu. With more than seven years of tournaments held within the subleague.com family, Oregon Open is excited to once again put on a professional, smooth, timely, and fun event.

Sub League Qualifier #1

Register today for the April 2 Sub League Qualifier! Now celebrating its seventh season, Sub League is gearing up for its biggest and best series of competitions yet. For the first time, the League is offering both Gi and No-Gi competition at all three events.

This classic submission event follows Sub League’s unique rules. Matches end in a win, lose, or draw, and there are no points, just submissions. A typical event draws more than 800 fans and competitors under one roof, while running six competition rings, and serving up around 1,000 matches throughout the day.

Athletes must qualify to compete for bragging rights in the June 11 Championship by placing first through fifth in one or both of the two Qualifier events.

Sub League Qualifier #2

Sub League kicked off its 2011 season on Saturday, April 2, with the first of two Qualifiers. Next up is Qualifier 2 on May 7.

The team competition is fierce with 65 teams from Qualifier 1 already in the running. Coaches, rally your teams. Every first place, second place, and submission counts.
